Valve guide driver or ???
 

Got this tool with some Snap-On and Manzel tools a few days ago and was wondering if anyone had seen one before. No brand name that I could find just a part number. Valve tool or dandelion picker??

Certainly looks like a valve guide driving tool to me. I have one that looks very similar, but does not have the piece thats attached to the center of yours. I'm also wondering if that piece attached in the center could possibly be covering some of the part number, or other identification information in your second picture?

Nothing else on it besides VL-43 then a logo? and last, Letter/number combo A1.

It´s a sunnen tool...came with that flimsy sheetmetal prybar.

I have a Sunnen set. My bar is a piece of 1/8" wall square tubing, longer and more rigid than the forged bars.

It is amazing how many different aftermarket tools were made for doing valve work on the V8. I have this tool and many others but there is no end to it. :)

This tool is ideal for pulling /driving down Model a Valves guides ,I could have used that myself the other day,
