this is a 9-20-1938 PURINA LAYENA EGG PRODUCERS' LICENSE.
#2826 Issued to Mr A Brown of Bridgewater, Mass - permission to raise chickens to provide eggs for the Massachusetts Region. Certificate is 5 x 7" and encased between 2 extra heavy duty glasses and in a home-made frame
9 x 7." Originally hung in chicken coop on Warren Ave. Good shape considering where it hung. Moved to Texas. Raised chickens there for family. Would make a great prop for a 1938 Ford Commercial Vehicle at truck shows or just hang in your garage or chicken coop !!! The smear on the glass is where it was baked by the sun. have not tried to remove.
