Starter hums will not turn engine over.

Problem with starter humming and not turning over engine over was a weak battery. Many thanks to all for your help.It is very much appreciated !

Problem was a weak battery. Not enough amps.Purchased new 825 amps battery. Problem resolved. Thanks to all for your help.It is very much appreciated !

bendix spring broken or bolt sheared off , or pinion drive on starter need light lube after cleaning , pull the starter & check it ,
