1930 Model A roadster on Ebay,original?

1930 black Model A roadster on Ebay now.Looks good and said to be in original condition since new same family. Strange it shows 1930 serial number and papers but has late '31 firewall and '31 grill shell.

If you are not far away, I would go look at it.

But!

Are you in the market?

What will the price end up being after the reserve is reached? Or what is the reserve?

Enjoy.

Original ... not hot rodded.

Definitely has all late '31 features.

More likely Grandpa lost the correct paper work, heirs are clueless other than the property is sold & the barn has to cleared out. Since the engine has a thirty serial number, it must be a '30 car, right ??

Good luck trying to get that issue corrected at DMV.

Not a bad looking Roadster it will clean up well.

One good thing is, they are saving it from a garage/barn that has 'I might burn down due to crappy electrical work' written all over it'

Nice looking barn/garage but that guy better hire an electrician to wire it.

Yes, it has 31 features but I also think something is "OFF" about that indented firewall. The shape of the indent does not look correct and has nothing to do with the reflection of the manifolds. The gas shutoff valve is not a Model A valve. Might be a restoration that started with a chassis and title. Body and other sheet metal came afterwards. Or two cars were made into one. Might even be a homemade "indent" in the firewall to facilitate using 31 tank. Just my opinion but worthy of investigation to somebody seriously considering this vehicle.

Ad says One owner family. Could the in-dent be a re-stamped firewall?? The gas tank shutoff looks like the correct one just at a different rotation. FWIW
