On my '29 model A pickup- why does the center light switch turn around in a complete circle and not work the lights? thanks. Jim

It sounds like the light switch isn't in place at the bottom of the steering column .

Like Purdy says. I'd guess the piece at the bottom of the rod is stripped or slipped out of place. If you loosen the bail and remove the wiring "bulb" thing at the bottom of the steering column you should be able to see what's wrong.
