Favorable ending to "Avoided Possible Catastrophe "

Uncovered the reason for the (major) gasoline leak! Cork gasket was not perfectly cut by the die. It was rather oval in shape and insufficient in diameter to be placed onto tank opening without the use of some permatex.

Once removed it was obvious that the mark made by large ring was too close to edge of gasket allowing gasoline to seep by!

Great quality control!

Now on to next project -- unplugging radiator from P.O. using Barsleak for "weaping" engine head instead of re-torquing said head!

YES, and before "some of you" tell me, 'I have used that product since I overheard Henry telling Harvey about it' with NO PROBLEM EVER! Well, "I" did/do have an existing problem with it, so now I must go through the trouble/expense of getting it out of my engine as well as now partially blocked radiator!

Hopefully, mild acidic flush will do the trick!
