Model A Synchronized Transmission

I know Mitchell makes a Synchronized Model A Transmission, but I heard that there is another person that either manufactures or rebuilds Model A Transmissions that are synchronized. Does anyone have any information about another manufacturer? And their product? (Not a T-5 or F-150 Conversion). Thanks

The only other way I'm aware of to still keep the closed drive-line is a '39 transmitter with the adapter and later u-joint cover.

Do a search as there are various ways to get a synchro trans AND retain (albeit modified) the closed drive. Ford 4 spds, OD trans, T-5's, etc.

Re: Model A Synchronized Transmission

The Mitchell transmission is not synchronized in first gear. This is what I was told by somebody on this forum. I guess the overdrive unit is synchronized.
I heard they offer different gear ratios for both units.

It got so complicated that I went for knee replacement surgery. Just kidding:D.
