28 Special Coupe on Ebay Check this "all original barn find" out on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1928-Ford-M...ed1d%7Ciid%3A1 (Item number 132898305217) Looks to be untouched. Has a manifold heater and a very rough top. Description is quite interesting. |

Re: 28 Special Coupe on Ebay Thanks for posting. Interesting seeing what an original 28 looks like that has not been molested/modified. Love the seat, red steering wheel, red rotor cap, still seems to have original interior (door card, etc.), floor boards. To bad no title. Hope who ever gets its takes lots of pictures and documents it before doing anything to it.
Amazing the tires/tubes still hold air, at least for a while. And are in decent shape other than the drivers front having a little sidewall damage. If actually being from Minnesota amazing to me there is not more rust, or was road salt not used until relatively recently? Is the "hitch bar" between the rear Bumperetts something original to the car, or was it an add-on or option? |

On the salt note, Detroit was the first city in the world (at least that's what they say) to apply salt to the roads in 1940. |
Re: 28 Special Coupe on Ebay very similar car sold just last month on ebay. Was listed here by a Barner and was in OH. Nice running car that sold for 7800. I thinks........

Not Ford original/option - looks to be homemade add-on |
Re: 28 Special Coupe on Ebay That's the way when doing a restoration. A nice complete car. Right down to the belt moulding. A hard part to find.
