Did anybody notice the colour schemes of the cars lined up in the second clip even though it was black and white?
BTW, I also noticed that they put the steering wheel on the right side - they still do in Japan.

Think it's cloth on the cars to protect them during shipping.

When Japan modernised in mid 19th century, they looked to Britain for ideas as they were the most modern Western industrialised nation then. Hence the driving on left side of road [RHD] & the first Japanese cars were clones of British Austin etc.
