Where can I buy a cam?
 

Is it possible to still buy a stock late flathead cam new or NOS? Yes I know I can get one reground, and will do that if I can't find one.

Would love to find an EAB or 8cm cam....
Have tried net searches with poor results, seen some used ones on ebay.....any ideas?

I think Pete can grind you one. I might recommenced an EAC grind, but Pete might have a better one.

Their website shows an EAB cam which would work fine......will call around tomorrow and see what I can find.

Check with Red's, he had some NOS cams he was using for regrinds. Not sure what they were for. The cam I got was reground by Schneider on one of Red's
cores.

The EAB/EAC ('52-'53) cams were supposedly the best OEM cam.

The one that Red sold me was a NOS 49-50 Merc camshaft with the snout machined for my 59AB. I thought it would be a good match with the Merc crank and I was happy getting the power the heavy Merc had in my 37.

Got my NOS EAB cam today, looks great! Still in the original box, well preserved.
