1929 Cabriolet

City: San Diego
State: CA
Price: 5500

1929 Model A Cabriolet for sale. Car was restored 40 years ago as a father/son project by my grandfather and dad, driven around, and then parked in a garage where it has sat. I have cleaned out the fuel system, tried to get it running but to no avail. It will turn over by hand and by use of the starter. It sounds like it has compression and is getting fuel but I think there is a timing or electrical problem. Probably an easy fix for someone more experienced with these cars. Top has been redone, upholstery has been redone, missing cowl lights and door panels, otherwise complete. Mechanical brakes, 21" rims, 4 cylinder engine with Zenith carb. I do not have a title but I believe I have all paperwork to complete the sale. First person with $5500 can take it away. Located in the Clairemont area of San Diego. I have one other person interested but not sure if the deal will go through, so keep that in mind. Thanks.

Vehicle is now sold. Car will be going to a restorer. Price was cheap but it needed a lot of work.

Glad to hear such a rare car is going to a restorer. I have watched a few restorations of 30-31 cabriolets here but no one has a rare 29'-Weeks
