Jim,
Thanks for the clarification. I'm sure all who expressed concern and good thoughts over the years will be happy to see your post. As we rush toward that century mark, things just don't work like they used to. Keep up the good fight!

For those not paying attention, Jim has been very busy.

Second edition of book published in B&W and color.

New cylinder heads shipping, I wish I could keep up with him.

John

Thanks guys! Mine was a serious stroke, if compared to an earthquake, L.A. City hall would now be sitting on Catalina Island! I've since fallen a couple of times, once breaking a hip. I use a cane to help my walking, but still walk like a drunk even though I'm usually not. At age 81, I'm able to get up every morning, take nourishment, and even drive, so life is not so bad. My wife has been like an angel to me, without her I'd have sunk long ago!!!

Hm, SHE never got that three wheeler thingy away from you, because you wouldn't slow down on the curves and were talking to hop it up with a B !

Glad your still here Jim B , and in my view she IS the reason.

MANY of us have been through HELL, as we get OLDER!
Besides having Polio, my chassis has been repaired SO MANY times, I can hardly make a list! It's like restoring an Old, broken, bent, rusty frame. Then throw in a Heart Attack & a small stroke. BUT, I'm HAPPY I can do what I CAN do!!!

talk about rebuild. My neighbour Wally is arriving home today with a new stent. That makes 24 in total. His kids say he is going to Simms Metals when he snuffs it. (Simms are metal recyclers).

STENTS are sorta' like when you poke a screendoor spring, into a COLLAPSED Heater Hose! Springs are GREAT for this & if they're TOO FAT, just stretch them & they get a smaller diameter!
