41 ignition switch light Does this look like a 41 ignition switch light?
Could be from a 49. Found in a box of dash lights I took off once upon a time from a 41 or 49. Note to myself, must get better at labeling parts. Could someone post a picture of an ignition switch light installed in a 41? https://fordbarn.com/forum/picture.p...ictureid=41655 For those not logged in or can't see on flickr: https://flic.kr/p/TGJ8aN |
Re: 41 ignition switch light My '41 Coupe has no light at the ignition switch.

Re: 41 ignition switch light Looks like '49 and '50.

Re: 41 ignition switch light From what I've read there "should" be an ignition light on '41s. Mine didn't have one.

Re: 41 ignition switch light My ‘41 SD Fordor doesn’t have an ignition light either. I’m wondering if it disappeared later in production because my ‘41 Deluxe Tudor had one.

Re: 41 ignition switch light 2 Attachment(s)
My early model year '41 Super Deluxe has one. Works only on parking lights. Pretty hard to get a picture from the back

Yes like drolston says. My 48 cpe has the same see photo with bulb holder and hole for ignition switch light just above the column drop slots ( all NZ assembled 46/48 Fords carried a RH drive version of the US 41 dash).
