Re: Name that Block With my limited flathead experience and only one picture, I can't tell other than I think they are 21 stud blocks with block mouthed water pumps, which I think puts them from '36 to early '38 ? Just a guess.

Re: Name that Block It's the only pic I have. I'm trying to figure out on the 2nd one what the pieces are that are mounted on either side. And what castings had pipe plugs on the jackets.

Re: Name that Block If the v8-60s have straight up and down exhaust bolts they are v8-60s.
Or put it another way, they are not our "normal" v8 type of any configuration. Edit: I just googled v8-60 and they look like the pics above. |
Re: Name that Block They ARE V8-60s. This pic shows the exhaust port studs in a vertical, rather than slanted configuration. You can also see the coolant hose exiting the side of block. DD
