Ok, if you are planning to spend some time in the Sunshine State, next February or March, to escape the COLD up north, let us know if and when you'd like to attend the 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash". We'll select the most 'popular' weekend and schedule all the events for that weekend.:) You know, it's never too early to plan these events so, we could use your help.;)

Last year we had a record number of attendees and we'd like to have even more Barner's at the 2015 event. As soon as we select a weekend, we'll post the info here. As always, we are looking forward to hosting another Cigar City Flatheads event and hope you'll be here to enjoy it with us. So check the calendar and let us know. Several suggestions for weekend dates have been submitted, and it's looking like mid to late March is the preference. We'll give it another week or so, for more suggestions, before we make a final decision as to which weekend in February or March we will hold the 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash". So, if you are planning on being in the Sunshine State in Feb or March, let us know your choice of weekends. We're looking forward to another fun Cigar City Flatheads event, hope you'll join us! :cool:

I think it would be nice to be able to go to the Zepher Hills swap meet while being in Florida for the Barners Bash.

The Zephyrhills Swap Meet dates are Feb. 19-22, 2015. We scheduled the Florida "Barner's Bash" on the Zephyrhills date once before, and it did not work out well for a number of reasons so, I'm hesitant to repeat that.

This year we have set up a tour of the Real Deal Steel Company (they make the '40 Ford Coupe bodies that Denis Carpenter sells) and Tom Roche has offered to host a BBQ again.:) Both will take place on the Saturday of the weekend we choose so, Zephyrhills is really not an option, unless we go to the swap meet on Friday, instead of doing the local garage tour.

We are trying to make this event as 'user friendly' as possible so, if you are planning to be in Florida in February and/or March of 2015, and would like to attend, please submit your preference as to which weekend we should schedule the 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash". Thanks.

Here is an up-date on the 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash". We are still asking for suggestions with respect to the "best" weekend in February or March, to schedule the event. March 13th -15th is out as that is the weekend for the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance. If you are planning on being in the Sunshine State in Feb. or March, and would like to attend the "Barner's Bash", let us know your weekend of choice.:cool:

Yes you can! :) I'm sure there will be plenty of Flatheads, with room for additional passengers, if you want to ride along in one. :cool:

At this point in time we can't give you a date we would like , until we get the start date for the ALS research study.

Hopefully by the time you set the date we will know if we can make it.
Once the study starts there are show up Dates at the hospital that are set in stone.

In the Ideal world we plan on Driving SHEBA down to Fla. for the fun & frolic.

And I want to say THANKS to you for the work you do to keep this annual event happening~~

Lets see if we can get MISS SHELLY & MAC to attend :)

Bill, it goes without saying that we (and I speak for all the Cigar City Flatheads), would love to see you, Lee and SHEBA down here in the Sunshine State for the 2015 Florida "Barner's Bash". Also, for those that may not know it, you have been a driving (pun intended) force behind the Florida "Barner's Bash" from the start!;) We'd also love to see Mac & Shelly at the "Bash". :)

As it looks right now, we are leaning toward the last weekend in February to hold the event. I'm waiting on conformation from several of the people/places that have offered to host the various events planned for the weekend. As I said, in an earlier post, I'll have a weekend confirmed by the end of this month. :cool:

BlueSunoco, Hope you can make it to the "Bash" on your trip to the Sunshine State. Here's a preview, it's looking like we will be scheduling the event to be held on the last weekend of February however, that is not confirmed just yet. Keep checkin' here, as we will post the actual dates at the end of this month.;)

My Roadsters are ALWAYS available for "GUESTS", along the lines of the young lady in the previous post:D... or any BARNER that needs to ride in a CIGAR CITY FLATHEAD member vehicle.:cool:

My wife can't make it this year thinking that another Barner in the same situation would like to share the driving from eastern Pa.it would be nice to have a week in sunny Fla. Phil

Not for long Chuck... I've got all NOS replacement parts for the '39 CS steering box... Just have to make some time to rebuild it...;)
