34 cabriolet window regulators/ channels
 

Hi, I recently bought a 34 cabriolet started by my uncle. I have window regulators that I am not sure are correct for this car. Mac’s catalog list Regulators for 32/33 cabriolet and none for the 34. I would have thought 33/34 would be the same and 32 different. What is correct ? I have not found a source for the window channels (and a lot of other 34 cabriolet parts). Any thoughts?

Macs list reproduction parts since there is no reproduction for the 33-34 window regulator they do not list it. They do make mistakes, the 32 and 33 regulators are different. It would be good if you can post a photo or two of what you have. There are photos in the 38 Ford hardware book that is sold as a reproduction. The 35 cabriolet regulator is the same as the 33-34. The Cabriolet side windows are very heavy especially in 35 when they became larger this put a lot of strain on the regulator and many became broken. Years ago they were replaced but today you may have to repair, replacements are very hard to find.

Hi, thinks for the repay. I will talks and see if perhaps a misprint. I will take some pictures of what I have neither one match mounting holes in the doors thanks, Phil
