Harmonic balancer 226G vs 226h

Will the harmonic balancer off the G 226 work on the H 226? I am looking at buying a H 226 but it doesn't have the harmonic balancer. I have the G balancer.

They look totally different in the parts book and they have different part numbers.

Most engines that have a harmonic type balancer need them due to the crankshaft design. Those that don't have them don't need them for the same reason. Internal balance versus a full or partial external balance.

I would call them Vibration Dampers. There are two types of Vibration Dampers. One is Viscous Type and the other is Rubber Type. They are interchangeable.

Thanks guys, I ask because thetwo motors have differences and I don't know of those differences would keep the two from interchanging.
