33-34 dash light bracket?

all my searching brings up nothing. no pics, no new part, no discussion. i need to make one, not a big deal but it would be fun to see the actual part just for guidance. any one have a pic on hand? i see the two mounting holes above the speedo, was there only one bulb? was it hooded at all to direct light? thanks

Boy, that's almost as good as having the original factory drawings!

thanks, i've seen that, another beautiful part made by mr monzo but he states that is for open cars only. so, the closed car unit is similar? i have a bulb holder from a later ford that is crimped to slide onto a mount, which i will make.

well thank you terry for your effort, sadly patience is not one of my strong points, so proceeded ahead with the open car copy. here's my version, a good reminder to buy one from bill and not me! it will work for my jalopy. i used 3/4" conduit for the tube, got to use my new home made brake and practice my imaginary tig weld skills. thanks again to all

I'm not sure when the change took place, but some were like those shown in the above photos, namely attached with screws and others (of both versions) were spot welded to the dash.

my coupe had holes on each side. they looked like they had never been used, not likely, but i found that an 8-32 tap went in quite nicely, and thats the plan for now
