'33-'34 roadster seat sight shields 1 Attachment(s)
As many of you know, both the '33-'34 roadsters (and '35-'36 roadsters with slightly different versions) had sight shields at the rear lower corner of the door opening to block off the gap at the back of the bottom of the seat cushions. The '33-'34 version is shown below in the extreme lower left corner of the photo.
Does anyone know of an available reproduction or perhaps possess a pattern for the '33-'34 version? Thanks! David |
Re: '33-'34 roadster seat sight shields Dave, did you check with Steve's Auto Restoration(SAR) in Portland, Oregon? Ph# 503-665-2222.

Re: '33-'34 roadster seat sight shields I don't think these have been reproduced. The structure of the reproduction body's don't require them. They are quite large, and very important. You might ask Karl Wescott.

Re: '33-'34 roadster seat sight shields They're not structural as they were made from sheet metal, but rather to solve an appearance problem. Immediately next to them are the forged brackets which provide the structural support for the B pillar.
