New York Times Full Page Model A Article

Todays (March 27th) New York Times has an almost full page article on one family that has owned a 1931 Slant Window Fordor through several generations. It is on page B9 which is part of the Business section of the paper, and besides text are four photos. It is an interesting article and frankly the New York Times is not where you would expect to find such a story. As I am in my 80th year pf owning my 1930 Coupe it hit home with me.

If you mean the NYT 'firewall', you can get around it by creating/logging in with a free account.

Aok - I think it depends on how many times you have been to a NYT article in the recent past. Cookies, and all that....... I just tried again, and was blocked.

That car is identical to the one my father had and sold 40 years ago I have tried to buy it back but the owner doesn't want to let it go. Try opening the link in an incogneto mode if it kicks you out.

My browser is set to delete cookies when it is closed. So every time I access the site with a fresh browser, it truncates the article but gives me the option to create free account/log in (scroll down). Dunno if there is a limit to the number of articles with a free account.

Works from here. If it doesn't, fire up a different brand of browser and copy the URL into it. Experts here at getting around Ruperts paywalls.

Good idea, Updraught. I was using Chrome, but tried it with IE and it came right up. All except the two pics in the middle of the article... Thanks!

Interesting. I normally use Firefox, which produced the result in my post #9 above - tried it with IE and got the result you describe.
