ford 360 motor into 1953 ford victoria gentlemen is it the same as swapping in a 289 or 302 .I know you would have to have some sort of kit. but would a 360 sit down where a302 normally would.

Re: ford 360 motor into 1953 ford victoria No,when Ford went to IFS ball joint suspension and the first overhead V8 in 1954 the mount locations changed, in a 1954-56 you can flip the 360-390 FE mounts and it's just about a bolt in swap. Not so in a 52-53 the other issue is the oil pan 1954-59 cars have a front sump oil pan when doing a swap in a 1949-53 Ford the 302-351 swap involves using a later model dual sump oil pan to clear.
