Snow started about 1 pm here. Heart Doc appointment went well. no shoveling for me!

Wait for the sun ! God put it there so let him get rid of it. A person with a heart problem that shovels snow is a proven fool ! Wayne

A 72 year old guy I know died of a heart attack last week after shoveling his driveway.
Don't over exert yourself, especially in the cold.

We had a few snowflakes this morning, and this afternoon I did ride with my neighbor to the bread store. I guess there is a connection. :D

Jonas Report:
we have about 6" of fine white stuff. Winds to pick up overnight.
Power fine. Our driveway is plowed by our contractor. I shoveled our door ways and walk way. Light work only. The heavy part of the storm is not here yet. Stay warm

They are expecting 47 degrees here in South Florida Sunday. When it gets cold like that, we too have power outages that they say are due to contracting wires on the poles.

Only the nutty weather people hope for a disaster. The sane people stay inside and off the roads. We averaged almost 200" on base up in the UP of Michigan back in the 60's when I was in the Air Force. Our only complaint as a firefighter was shoveling it away from the fire hydrants when you couldn't find the 8' marker poles. The control tower reported -75* wind chill was the coldest while I was there. Why do I live in the South again!

It is not bad here in CT. most of the action is toward the south. The cat and I are weathering the storm just fine.

We have 20" here in North Central West Virginia and still snowing. I'm not going to do any snow removal, to old for that. God put it there and he will take it away.:D

Ice here in NC we lost power for a few hours. It is back on now. But My Son's power in Raleigh area will be off until Monday.
