Running Boards

On my 30 Coupe it has original one piece Running Boards and Splash Aprons that are spot welded together. I would like to replace the Running Boards only and keep the Aprons as is, Anyone know if the Running Boards can be separated at the spot welds and replace with a separate Running Board.

if they are spot welded together, they are NOT original, and the will not have the gutter there for the running board to set in. you might be able to cut the lip off of the replacement that you come with.and spot weld it back on.
