CCPU safety lock The doors on my ccpu often open when I hit a bump or make a shart turn. Does anyone make a simple safety lock that could prevent this? It seems that a sliding mechanism could be used as a safety lock without looking too bad.

Re: CCPU safety lock If your door latch is set properly that problem should not exist. I'd start first with your latch!

Re: CCPU safety lock I installed new latch’s in the door and posts. I have hit some pretty teeth jarring bumps but never had the doors pop open since.

Re: CCPU safety lock I put new springs in the latches on my Tudor, doors no longer pop open !

Re: CCPU safety lock My Late '31 CCPU had the problem of the passenger door becoming partially opened when going over any bumps. A very good friend of mine checked the passenger door top fit with the cab. That door had been replaced. By running a folded piece of paper along the top, he found an interference near the cab front. This may be helpful to you.
