32 3 w coupe dome light wire routing
 

What is correct way to route the wire from dome light switch to the dome light? Basically I am wanting to avoid problems with headliner install later. Is metal tab at rear of top opening used for the ground connection?

Yes, that tab is for the ground wire. The hot lead is routed along the roof rib adjacent to the lamp housing down in the right side B pillar to the switch and out forward above the wood side header to the A pillar and down to the connection with the main wiring harness behind the dash.


Except for the ground wire routing, the photo below is representative.
