Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton looks like a horn survived.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton No surviving occupants from that one.
|
Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton I can see the CL ad now, ran when parked, just needs paint, engine turns by hand, could need seat covers, low mileage, a few spots need buffing, owned by aunt, uncle, cousin, just need to sell, tires hold air.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton The Minnesota boys will part it out and make a million bucks on it.

The owner went in to get his tractor fixed.I think it was hit while parked so no casualties. |
Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton This is something I'd try to restore. :D
|
Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton Judging from the surviving pieces, that was a relatively new car when it got hit.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton "Don't Touch". The owner was proactive in warding off the '34 Ford parts hoarders, even before '34 Fords were near the center of the V8 universe. The owner had uncanny intuition.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton Note the left front wheel. It appears that the rim has been largely sheared off from the hub with the spokes left mostly attached to the hub.

Re: Wrecked 34 phaeton I wonder if the train was damaged.;)

X2 on this . Note the LF door is pretty much in place . Top was down and booted . Could be some distortion on the right doors and rear body . That said a new chassis cowl and front tinwork and -----? That dream aside what a EXCELLENT parts car . As mentioned it looks pretty new . Unlike this one from 1945 .

Bigger pic below now . Look how badly rusted out the rocker is in 1945 . Car had a bad life . |
