Thunderbird transmission filter problem
 

I'm changing the fluid and filter on my

Limited Edition '63 and can't find the fabric type filter for the transmission. The kits I've found so far have all had a screen mesh and the holes wont line up with the tubes. the filter also needs a rubber surrounded hole to seal both tubes.My first 'bird since a '58 back in '65 and I can't drive it!!! HELP!! Anyone know where the filter is??

I don't think I made myself clear;I need to know where I can purchase a fabric filter for a '63 t-bird for the automatic transmission. All the kits I've found so far have a wire mesh filter that will not fit.The holes are approximately 1/4 inch too close together.

UP DATE!! I have located the proper filter for the traney! Many thanks to Doug Copeland at Copeland Transmissions in Escondido California for the help.-Bill
