Roadster top questions? ASAP please!!
 

Any difference between 28-29 tops and 30-31 tops....particularly Deluxe vs. Standard 30 -31 tops. Finally, any info describing differences in tops? Thanks, in advance!

Go to Macs web site and type in "top iron and wood kit" for model A all years.

We don't have deluxe here, only standard. Even tho the Macs ones are repo they seem to show the difference between 28-29 and 30-31 standard, if I remember right. The 30 ones don't have the same scissor action I believe. The 28-29 ones will be narrower and higher at the back I think.
The 30 deluxe I gather are lower all over and are look like cheap flat strap steel. Probably why we didn't get them! Anyway, best I can do...

There IS a difference between a 1928 and a 1929...!
I got this information from Marco. I think it's the heights of the center OR back bows.

A deluxe top is going to be shorter as there is a difference in the height of a deluxe (shorter) windshield and a standard roadster windshield. Therefore the top bows are different also

There were also 2 different 29 tops made.. early and late
