Clutch adjusting arm After struggling, on my own, to adjust the clutch and being thoroughly frustrated with the experience, I noticed the reseller clutch adjusting arm that allows adjustment without pulling the clevis pin.
I seem to recall reading somewhere that these do not suit an early 1928 with a multidisc clutch. Nothing is mentioned in the catalogues, but.... Is anyone able to clarify for me please? Thanks John |
Re: Clutch adjusting arm Can't answer your question about that arm. I have found that a small bottle jack to be very helpful under the arm in positioning and holding it while adjusting.

Re: Clutch adjusting arm Hi John. The overall length on the '28 multidisc adjusting arm is approx. 2.600" while the later clutch adjusting arms are approx. 4.300". There is not enough room for the style arm you ask about to fit between the clutch release arm & the clutch pedal. Bob

Re: Clutch adjusting arm Thanks Bob for confirming that it is not suitable for the 28 multidisc.
