I got this part with other Ford stuff and need help to identify what it is. Looks like it will bolt to the timing cover of an early flathead and drive maybe another distributor at 90 degrees with a speed increase of 2X.

Yes, I realize that , but one turn in produces exactly two turn out at the other end through the right angle gear drive.

I would guess it to be a right angle adapter for some industrial application like a forklift or rear engine bus, etc., but the 2 t0 1 deal is odd!

It's a magneto drive for a 2N Ford tractor. Part number 2N-12600
