Tillotson X
 

I have a Tillotson X I do not know it's history. The carb is clean as well as the passages. The manifold flange is flat and so is the bowl lower body. The upper body has a slight warp however I appears to seal when attached to the lower half. I can start the engine cold however I have to tickle the choke until warm up. Once warm she idles really well and I get results from the idle mixture screw. The problem I am having is I cannot get results from the main GAV adjustment. Closed or open nothing changes. Main jets are open.The engine will accelerate and run fine at higher speeds. (engine is on a stand). The float is set at 1". Help.
