Sorta early Ford related!

“St. Charles County police responded to a medical emergency on Buckner Road at approximately 12:40 p.m. today (Saturday, March 18),” the police department said in a statement. “Inside the home, first responders observed an unresponsive man and immediately administered lifesaving techniques. Unfortunately, the 90-year-old man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at 1:26 p.m.
“The St. Charles County Police Department sadly confirms the death of Charles Edward Anderson Berry Sr., better known as legendary musician Chuck Berry.”

And I'll be headed on down the road
Then I won't have to worry
About that broken down, raggedy Ford."

Chuck was awesome but the true king of Rock and Roll in terms of influencing just about everyone who followed was Buddy Holley -and he did it all in 18 months -Karl

First one to sing about a safety belt but I think he was really referring to a bra hasp.

I had a friend in New Orleans many years ago with a '32 3-window coupe, a "real deal" hot rod back then that he always called "Maybelline". DD

Think I'll put on the Chuck Berry 'disc', just soon as Johnny Cash is done....
Yup, KING, for sure, as Elvis, Buddy Holley et al....were influenced and imitated him.

Rest in peace Chuck, but won't miss you, because you will be singing here for as long as things hold up !!

Sadly missed, but look for a release this summer that Chuck had recorded with Gary Clark Jr and several family member players.
