Re: The alignment of 28-9 model A roadster P/U body on chassis Pictures of the hood alignment and door alignment on both sides would help to know where to shim.

Re: The alignment of 28-9 model A roadster P/U body on chassis Make sure the door front inner edge is parallel with cowl post at A pillar jamb.
You do not have an outside gap to judge by on a roadster re bent or worn hinges. |
Re: The alignment of 28-9 model A roadster P/U body on chassis My 28 has a bad twist in the frame, one side needed shimsthe other sie did not. Measured it to be about a 3 inch twist.

Re: The alignment of 28-9 model A roadster P/U body on chassis Are you working with timber stringers and subframe ?
Just picked up the KIwi tag when you mentioned petrol tank..I know all of our CCPU/s came from USA/Canada, with steel subframes but do not know about roadster pickups. |
Re: The alignment of 28-9 model A roadster P/U body on chassis Hi yes the roadster pickup is a canadian built truck. The sub fram is all steel.
