tack rail top fasteners Some of the CINCH fittings are loose in the tack rail around the back of the seat in my '29 roadster. I suspect a split or rotten tack rail and wonder how difficult it is to replace this wood ? Or, is there an easy repair process ? The CINCH fittings have to match the rear top flap fittings so it is not an option to move them to one side a bit. Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: tack rail top fasteners You've got two threads going on the same subject.
There are epoxies and/or plastic 'wood" avail that could probably be injected into the holes to make them "new". Others with more experience in this area will probably add additional suggestions. Make sure you ck both threads. paul in CT |
