oil leak at center block bearing bolt

Have oil leaking bearing center main bearing bolt. Any fixes without tearing it down. Sealants etc. It is not a huge leak just messy one.

Thanks

You could try; Clean the area around the nut. Hook a vacuum cleaner hose up to the oil fill spout. With the vacuum on, work sealer around the base of the nut. With luck the vacuum will pull sealer into and voids. Other then that, it's drop the pan to fix.
This is a fix done by Model T people, and the T engine is a lot less air tight.

I've never heard of this method...But it's brilliant!

Remember, it's NOT a pressure leak, it's just from SPLASH & CAPILLARY wicking.
