Snyder's "new" shocks

Just received my 2015 Snyder's catalog and they are selling "QUALITY MODEL A SHOCKS" that are "finally available."

Here's the catalog link: http://www.snydersantiqueauto.com/5993

I am not associated with this vendor in any way. Just passing this info along.

Re: Snyder's "new" shocks

Yes good news, these and Stipe made Shocks are better than zero manufactures! I believe there was another Thread that mention Snyder's are made in Brazil. I cannot see how any tube shock would work well on the front end of Model A, the tube's would need to be the size the links to the arm to get the same vectored force (direction) as these shocks do.

Rat, hot and street rodders have been running tube shocks on fords since the mid 40's with good results. FWIW

We know a lot about the Stipe shocks but little about these.

Are they refillable?
Are they adjustable?
Can an original cover be used?

Please let us know how they work.

What we do know is that Snyders don't handle junk. Hopefully they will respond to answer the questions posed !

Have you seen the precision that goes into the making of the shocks. Try .0005 clearances between the moving parts.

Tube shocks would be the near the same price if only a 1000 of so were ever made.
