I saw that on Fox. Maybe the economy will be back by October, otherwise, they may go for a song.

A dusty classic Ford is partially draped as it sits in Regehr's vintage car collectionhttps://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2020/03...5618595355.jpg

Another classic Ford in Regehr's collection has a white convertible roof and white wall tires

I wonder if the picts are random. Reason I ask, they mention a '67 Camaro Pace Car. Super rare car. There was more than 67 built. Some estimates say could be close to 200. Regardless, it's rare.

Anyway, the car in the pict. is a '69. It's possible he has both in his collection, but I hope the auction house does their homework so they can get some decent numbers for some of these rare cars.

I'm sure his muscle cars will bring more than his Fords.

And it appears to still have its original landau irons, which often are long gone.

I have seen the collection and it is nice. I feel that the economy at the time will not have an effect on prices. I know of several big players that will be there with their briefcases filled with money. Doubt if there are many bargains? I will be obliged to go as a spectator since it's only 3 hrs away.

David- The car does appear to be a Sport Coupe. It also looks like it has original paint. I also notice it does'nt have cowl lights and from here it does'nt look like the holes were filled. My question is I thought all Sport Coupes were Deluxe, which would mean they had cowl lights, right? I also noticed the pic of a Sport Coupe in your 32 book Vol. 2 does'nt have cowl lights, either. Also in the production numbers list, it lists only a "Sport Coupe" and does'nt distinguish between Deluxe and Standard. I am just curious. Thanks.

Isn’t the sport coupe effectively a standard coupe with a different top as such wouldn’t have cowl lights?

No deluxe Sport Coupes listed in the domestic production figures that I have.

As a sport coupe owner I too believe all were standard models unless the off shore production may have done otherwise. Thanks, Ron

Re: Upcoming Auction, Some nice V8 Ford's

They were basically standard models with rumble seats as standard equipment (which were optional on standard coupes). Also unlike their standard coupe counterparts, safety glass all around was standard equipment. The interiors were standard trim including "interior gray" (more brown than gray) paint on the dash and garnish moldings. No cowl lights unless sold in a jurisdiction where they were required (like Argentina - one the three that I've owned I exported from there and it had cowl lamps like all '32s that I encountered there, both standard, deluxe, commercial vehicles, and big trucks), no wood graining, and no carpet in the front.

Seems strange Ford called it a “Sport Coupe”, but it was’nt offered with Deluxe trim, or was it?
