thought ya'll might like to see one going back together. It will end up as a driver, as it had a B engine in it and hyd brakes (half finished) when I bought it.

We are at the rolling chassis phase and next is sorting out the rest before the body goes on. The body sheet metal is at the soda blasting shop and will be back Wednesday. The body is is remarkable shape, as was the frame.

Will keep all posted on progress.

First pic is the frame on the lift, second pic is the diff ready to attach to the rear spring. Third pic is the front axle on the frame, and the 4th, the frame rolling!!!!

looks the same as yours. before starting the renovation. Got some bad news from the machine shop, cracks in the block everywhere, and some of the metalock pin ares of a previous repair have cracks progressing from them. Too many to fix.

Have a replacement block on the way, so shouild be dropping in the engine maybe a month or so.

Will have the body Wednesday, and am looking at maybe a couple weeks of lite body work, as the body is in really good condition.

Update:

All body parts returned from blasting and etch primer coating. All in all, the body work will be minimal. The body work is next, after the chassis is finished.

My grandson is helping with some competent wrench turning, though, I'm on the hook to take him Kart racing ( he is hard to catch and you have to squeeze him out or he will take you in the turns). Then to the swimming pool. Then ice cream as payment. Hard bargain for sure.

He has already asked to drive the A when it is finished.

After all that it is nap time, no car work today.

Be very careful with the body molding around the cab. They are very rare and nearly impossible to replace, and very easy to damage in removal and reinstallation.
