Lets see now.

#1 Crank shafts don't bend in storage -- No matter if stored standing up or laying down.

#2 Engines hung on engine stands by the bell housing will never break and fall to the ground.

# 3 There is no such thing as Vapor lock.

#4 ( can you add any that I may have missed ) :eek:

Any tool / nut or bolt dropped while working on a vehicle will be found exactly in the center of said vehicle

This being true if part/tool makes it to the ground.

Nothing worse than dropping part/tool and having it not make it to the ground......

Don't forget, lifting an engine by a carburetor base plate on an aluminum intake is fine and will never come loose.
