No Oil Pressure Gauge in my 1935 Tudor Been getting acquainted with my garage find 1935 Tudor Flatback and noticed there was no oil pressure gauge. The round gauge on the left of the speedometer is Fuel only and the gauge on the right is Temp and Ammeter. I have a 1936 owners manual that shows the left gauge as a combination fuel and oil pressure. Also have a 1935 wiring diagram that shows an oil gauge sending unit in the circuit.
Based on serial number, car was manufactured in September, 1935. It is a plane jane Tudor, one wiper, one sun visor, one horn, painted grill, etc. Any ideas or comments appreciated. Bob |
Re: No Oil Pressure Gauge in my 1935 Tudor You have a "standard model." The standard has only a fuel and amp gauge. The deluxe model has a fuel & oil pressure on the left On the right the deluxe has an amp & engine temp. The wiring diagram is the same for both models. The oil feed line is not used on the standard.
Hope this helps. Tom |
Re: No Oil Pressure Gauge in my 1935 Tudor Thanks, Tom. Kinda what I was thinking but still interesting.
It does help, thanks. Bob |
