Unknown Zenith Carburetor 1 Attachment(s)
I obtained a zenith carburetor core but I don't know what's it's to. The gas line is on the front of the bowl and it doesn't have an opening for the adjustment needle housing. I don't think it's a Model A carb, Model T maybe? Any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Re: Unknown Zenith Carburetor Zenith made a lot of different carburetors. Harold Hicks talked Henry Ford into using the Zenith designed for the model A in order to get the 40 HP during the engine development but is was only used on the early 4-cylinder models. All of the Ford ones had the GAV on the side but the B carbs has a more rectangular bowl shape and the larger venturi bore.

Re: Unknown Zenith Carburetor Hi DJeffrey. That's a nice looking 190A Victoria Leather-Back you have. I notice that you are not a member of the International Victoria Association. I highly recommend that you join the Association by contacting President Bill Cilker. His email is [email protected]
For the Association, I keep a record of surviving Victorias. So far I have over 600 190As on file, but not yours. Does your car have a Murray body number on a firewall tag? Email me at [email protected] if you would like to have your car in the record. By the way, if your car is missing its body number, I can reserve one for you that fits the features of your car, but you need to join the Association for this benefit. The Association also has a newsletter, The Bustle by Tom Endy. |

Re: Unknown Zenith Carburetor It has an air balance tube, so would be industrial or farm. Off something like a Gleaner combine, maybe. With the air balance tube would have used with an air filter, more than likely oil filled type.
