windshield wiper cables & spool
cable jumped the spool on my 60 Merc windshield wipers is there a trick to re-spooling these cables ? special tool to reset spring while re-wrapping or do I have to dis-assemble the heater box under the dash ... hard to explain w/out picture but underneath the dash there are four cables wrapped around a spool w tiny knobs that hold them secure... 2 are long 2 are shorter as the wipers go down and up the spool turns to make the wipers work back and forth ... anyone ever dealt with this situation before
