Model A Sputter

I just noticed the other day, that my Tudor has started to sputter. You can mainly feel it in high gear, lower speeds, but when going down the highway it seems fine. Also, at a stop sign, the idle speed now drops very low. Engine was rebuilt 1000+ miles ago, and I rebuilt the carb about 300 miles ago. It seems like it is getting fuel, although my first thought was that it was not. Thanks ahead for any thoughts

Check your point gap.

Intake leak, probably at the intake flange to carb. Flatten both surfaces and use a new gasket.

Had same presentation which turned out to be a sluggish valve. Readily corrected with Marvel Mystery Oil.

MMO like mentioned above, seemed to fix a similar problem I had.

How much did you run in the crankcase? I will also check the carb flange.
