Power steering syetem

Hello all,

Have a question please. Does anyone know if the power steering system from a 56 Merc is the same as the 56 Victoria?

If so, I may have a chance at buying one. Thanks in advance!

I would assume it's interchangeable but can't say for 100% sure though. I know the suspension parts are all the same, like the control arms, spindles, ball joints, tie rod ends, etc. Frame looks the same too.

Go get it, parts in hand are worth a lot more than ideas and wishes.

Take big sockets when you go, the crankshaft bolt needs to come out to get the front pulley off. When you put on the part on the right frame rail, you don't need the factory special nuts. Two bolts welded to the bottom of the frame while the part is bolted with the two long bolts to locate, works fine and is easy to do.
