difference between 1936 and 1939 frames wondering if someone could tell me what the difference between a 1936 frame and a 1939 frame is, if anything. thanks.

A lot of people say they're interchangeable and they are with minor modifications. If you're putting a 39 frame under a 36 and using 39 brakes an 39 rear trans mount it wouldn't be much of a problem. Bill |

Re: difference between 1936 and 1939 frames Serial Number? Don't laugh. If you get a DMV that goes by the book they may want to register the year of your car as determined by the serial number on the frame.
