I found this old piece of farm machinery at a salvage yard. Does anyone know what it was used for?

http://www.gasenginemagazine.com/com...g-history.aspx been around a long time, sounds like it was a do it yourself tractor kit this one utilizing a model a trans. |
Re: Shaw Du-All with Model A Transmission What ever it is, that is a great piece, and should be saved and preserved.

Unless a junkyard has several of these to get parts from to create one its a needle in a haystack to find parts for some of these oddball things that existed 70+ years ago... |
Re: Shaw Du-All with Model A Transmission If you google shaw du all there is a lot of info on this garden tractor.

Re: Shaw Du-All with Model A Transmission I have one of these tractors. It has all the attachments including the plow and harrow. We used it for many years to cultivate our garden. It takes four spiked steel wheels for great traction and has individual left and right wheel brakes.
