V8-60 L47 cam

I've been searching for a cam for my V8 60 and located one that is marked L 47. Is this possibly a Literio cam? Anyone have any specs for this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

I have no info on that cam but am curious on what you are building.
You can email me if you want.

Hi Pete. Nothing exotic, I have a 29 A with a 60. It was built as a hot rod back in early forties. Runs like silk, but getting pretty tired. In process of assembling another 60 as a replacement. I'm looking for good street cam/touring cam.

I would stick with a stock cam. You need torque, not high RPM horsepower. Ray

Any of you Oregon guys remember a 32 with a V8 60? Somewhere along the way I ended up with a V8-60 transmission with a 32 rear mount on it. Was told it came from Oregon. Still have the trans if someone wanted to stop by I would give it to them (minus the mount). It is not the same as a regular V8 trans.

Absolutely true about wanting to retain as much low end torque as possible.
