1931 Cabriolet I'm looking for the two rear wood roof bows and landau irons for my 1931 Cabriolet. It seems this car is hard finding parts for.

Re: 1931 Cabriolet Yes Cabriolet parts are very hard to find. Is your 1931 Cabriolet a 68B or 68C?
The 68C is a slant window. ps. I do not have any of the parts you are looking for, but you need to clarify which model Cabriolet you have, 68b or 68C. |
Re: 1931 Cabriolet The wood bows should be available from classic wood Greensboro
You do need to specify whether slant (68c) or B Like 160b says irons are rare and expensive if found |
Re: 1931 Cabriolet It’s a 68 B..Thanks for the advice

Re: 1931 Cabriolet I have an extra set of Landau Irons. They came off of my 1930 68B. One is in good working condition (but not real shiny though). The other was repaired by brass welding one end near the "hole" and it fits a little loose. It will not extend to rigid. If you are skilled and can get it right, it would be a good iron. I can't see charging for the welded one so, I'll throw it in for free and you can take it to a machine shop or do it yourself for a proper repair. We can negotiate the price of the good one if you want them. I'm not interested in gouging any one. Send me your cell phone number and I will text pictures to you.

Re: 1931 Cabriolet I am also searching for a good set of Top Irons (NOT Landau Irons) for my 1930 68B. OR, the internal mechanism for the pair I have on my car. Mine are missing. The hinge is the "toggle or lever" type, not the push button type of late 30 or 31. Scott
