Seeking Model T Engine/Trans builder

I have a model t engine recently rebuilt, but when coupled to the transmission, it has a horrible vibration when shifting from low to high. It starts easily and idles well with a clear neutral.

I would like an experienced mechanic to go over the engine and transmission to set it right. I live in Central Virginia and can deliver the unit within a days drive.

Might just be driving technique. Are you reducing the throttle and letting up on the low pedal quickly after getting rolling or are you changing gears at too high of speed? Even after driving mine for many years still sometimes have that happen.

Unless you plan on taking the whole car to them, I don't think just having an engine will tell them anything. How long have you had the car and how much have you driven a T?

Joe Bell is in Tiffon (sp?) Ohio. He rebuilt the engine in my 1927 Model T several years ago and is a fabulous Model T rebuilder.
