While Mike does a great job, that is not really an accurate statement. There are other choices if someone needs options. Fred, I have some of the original pattern materials (brown check & gray check) in stock if you want to come over the mountain to look at it. |

I am looking for a ready made headliner that I can install myself. I don't want to be hauling the car around to get it installed. I am near the finish line with this car. I can't believe that it has turned into an eight year project due to all my health issues. I have an old Lebaron Bonney headliner but it has water stains and I don't want to use it. The seats have been upholstered with LB materials and I have a small amount left over to do the side panels but not enough to finish all of them. The door panels are LB and I can use them.
I may take you up on that suggestion and come see you. I'll give you a call soon. |

The seats are gray (I'd have to look up my notes to give the proper name). The headliner is gray but it is slightly different from the seats and side panels. |

My guess is you have Gray Check for the seat faces. This is the gray wool headliner material that we use to make headliners. . |
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? I used to use Tony Ames at Original Auto Interiors for years , he had cloth from every American manufacturer back to the 30s, but he retired last year and passed he baton to Doug Pollock at SMS Auto Fabrics. https://smsautofabrics.com/pages/about-sms
Check him out, if he doesn't have what you need he will MAKE it. Weaves the cloth on US looms in the USA. He has most headliners for most cars IN STOCK all the time. |

Even the L/B windlace fabric they were using was incorrect, but no one is manufacturing the correct pattern. |
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? I have pieces of windlace and seat piping, LB was not even close to correct.

Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? An upholstery guy just told me that someone bought Lebaron bonney. I forgot the name. Something short like Red Hot or something like that.
|
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? Wonder if it was Reds Headers
|
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? so they bought it to dismantle or to restart?
|
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? I wonder whether they just bought the trademarks. The LB name has a lot of recognition in the restoration community and would still be worth real money to someone who wanted to operate under it.

Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? Here’s a company I found doing a quick search they say they do model a headliners wlsheadliners.com I know nothing of their quality or authenticity.
|
Re: Lebaron Bonney has closed???? LB was about a minute drive from me, I was surprised to see them close. They were a benchmark.
